I don't eat the skin. Can't get past the taste. And sweet potatoes...I can choke them down, but I'm not a big fan. I get most of my carbs from pasta, bread, fruits, and green vegetables.

I was the same. I switched to doing 6 small meals a day eating every 3 hrs and that really helped my craving for fast food. I still get it once every couple of weeks and have a cheat day but from where i came from its a lot better. You just have to slowly change your diet and slowly start eating less and more frequently. It worked for me so theres no guarantee that it will work for you.

Thanks guys. Any clean supplements for fat burning workouts?

Also, I need to tone arms and chest (and bulk ultimately) - low weight high reps?

Cardio? What the hell is that! Us lesser builds don't need that :p

On a side note: Back to the gym first time in 2 weeks... Traveling and moving to a new location sucks your time right up. I've lost about 20% strength :( But I know I'll gain it back soon enough! Hopefully.

The only true fat-burner is hard work. All that other crap is justa temporary fix or a placebo...I have heard great things about green tea being a natural fat-burner though.

    Low weight/high reps: size
    high weight/low reps: strength

You need to do both. Also, don't forget to train back, legs and shoulders. A strong back gives you stronger abs and makes your chest look bigger. Shoulders also make your bench press stronger, making your chest bigger. Everything is related. Don't neglect muscles! For arms, do 4-5 workouts a week per muscle, 3-4 sets of 6-15

    Ex. biceps workout:
preacher curl: 3 sets of 10
hammer curl: 3 sets of 10
incline concentration curls: 3 sets of 10

Don't overdo it. Doing 500 curls a day for a month isn't going to do anything. Your muscles grow when they're resting.

What he said, no fat burning supplement. Theres no magic pill or magic workout that people are doing and keeping a secret. Eat well, and have some exercise. Thats it. You have to be dedicated to see results. Don't pull any, what will one beer matter shit either. I have a huge problem with it, to be honest. Just be dedicated, and don't get worked up on supps.

Run. It's free and IMO the fastest way to lose weight as long as you aren't a puss about it. You just have to push yourself. Its all mental. If you can't push yourself to run and lose weight then I think it's more of a drive issue than a time/facilities/money issue. Only exception I could see would be some sort of injury

He said earlier he had a back injury and iffy knees (Osgood something or other disease...my best friend has it, too).

On another note, Tried the new chest workout today. My max on free weight bench is 245...I was struggling to get 185 6 stimes.

    20 reps @ 135
    15 reps @ 145
    12 reps @ 155
    8 reps @ 175
    6 reps @ 185

Stayed REALLY light on incline, doing 5 sets of 8-10 reps at 115-135.

After about my 2nd set of incline, I already couldn't hardly lift my arms above my shoulders

Hopefully this crap works for me. We'll see in 3 weeks when I go back to heavy weight.

I have a 64 oz jug I keep at work, drink all of it while I'm there. Probably 20-30 oz while I'm at the gym, then maybe 20-30 more when I get home throughout the night.

Running at any weight I have seen (235-310lbs) with my OSD is highly uncomfortable. No puss to it.

I've done something similar to that, except I started at 10 reps @ 135 and went to max. My usual max is 270 lbs. and after all that, I was struggling to get 200! That pyramid crap is intense!!! Props to you, brotha!

    Same here, about a gallon.

    That's a BIG ASS cup!
