    Hey all,

I picked up my 2013 Taco on Saturday and couldn't be happier. I did notice something today though and wonder if any of you have the same issue?

When looking in the drivers side rear view mirror, its really distorted. Its not as bad as but comparable to looking in one of those fun house mirrors. All of the cars in that mirror look squished and fat.

Yep, going back tomorrow. I wanted to know if anyone else is having the same issue though or if its an isolated thing.

Soooo, went to the dealership today and no issues. They've ordered the replacement mirror and will install with no issues. I would be lying if I said that I expected this result so easily. I kind of expected some run around.

Not sure why so many people have problems with dealers? The one I go to I have never had a problem with them.

Same here, noticed it last night on the way home, the Tacoma behind be got real wide and fat when I looked in my drivers door mirror,

I'll stop by and see if they can order me a mirror,

Just got the truck a few days ago,

I'm betting a lot of people who have trouble with the dealer post up and lots of people who don't have problems don't post up creating an expectation of getting screwed by the dealer.

The dealer I go to just replaced a blown right front shock, no questions asked. My truck show definite evidence of off road use, lots of scratches, both sides and underneath, bent skids, etc.. I thought that I would be hassled, but had no issues.

Are they replacing both? I wouldn't want an imbalance of wear between two shocks.

Only one shock was replaced, but the truck only has 28,000 km on it, so I doubt that uneven wear is much of an issue. The truck drives and rides fine after the replacement.

p.s. I'm picky as hell about suspension, I generally replace/upgrade shocks in every vehicle I buy, new or used. The front of the Taco seems good to me, but I found the rear under damped from day 1, and I will be replacing the rears in the near future. I still need to figure out with what - I would prefer shocks with adjustable low speed rebound damping, but no-one seems to build the shock I want.

I went by my dealer this morning, he had me sign an RO, so they can order the glass, they will call me when it comes in,

I need to try and get a picture of how it looks, kind of funny actually.
