With the HC bumper where did you put the backup camera?

 

Where was this that sells used parts? I'm about to cut up my center console to see if I can fit my CB under the cigarette lighters, and want to know that I can find a replacement if it doesn't work out the way I plan it to. I found new for $74 +shipping.

 

It's a Toyota used parts place. Address is 3689 Recycle Rd in rancho Cordova. There are a couple places on that road

 

Yea Sac has a ton of Tacoma parts. SJ has quite a bit too. Just search on CL and call all those places. Anywhere that didn't have it, I just asked them for recommendations and they would give me another number, and so on. So I just kept calling around

 

That's pretty sweet you found one so fast. I will see if I can find the center console part I just cut up and I could even swap it out when I'm not using the CB I'm installing in the little cubby hole

 

It's mounted in-between the bumper and tailgate. Guess the bumper flexed and pushed the camera upward and when I opened the tailgate it hit the camera and shattered the lens.

I did a little cutting on my center console and got my new CB to sit back a little further into the hole. I can get it to go back about another inch if I cut the rest of the right side off and the top lip of the other trim piece. I think I will make it so I can pull it out when not using it and have the cup holders.

Also Jerry, What about tire gates? Would something like this be worth having you do? I want to do something like these to move my spare tire later down the road when I do something with me rear bumper, again so I don't have to cut my bed up in order to get a full size spare tire mounted somewhere other then underneath.

There is 2 that I know of in Rocklin. PK Sushi and there is the place I went to that I can't remember the name. It's on my facebook if you want to know. It's a fairly new place.

 

One of my favorite sushi places in Fairfield just sold it to his cousin and moved up to Sac, I wonder if that is him and started to do an all-you-can-eat deal.
