lol. i post stuff like that as well.

he was in the knoxville area. i have never seen a red taco with LED light by the hood around here. and with my eyes i would spot that out of any where if i was ever around it.

 

That was my old one, and I yanked those lights off before I lost it. The last I saw it, it was on Coparts in Knoxville lol thats why I was wondering

No the one I went to was a silver at a repo lot. But the damage was pretty close. Never find any good deals anymore.

 

i found out from another member. there is a junk yard kinda place in NC not to far over state line. but the guy dose not really get any 2nd gens. i asked him to let me know if he gets any good ones in that i could maybe pull some small stuff off of.

 

anyways going to try and bed line rear bumper this week, don’t have much going on after tomorrow, and the weather looks pretty good(relatively low humidity)

 

Shit, not here. Upper 90s all week with heat index in the mid 100s. Humidity 85% right now. Gaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!! And what bedliner u doin?

the temps will be high uper 80’s and low 90’s but it was showing low humidity.


and i got 2 cans of rust-oleum. got them like 2 months ago. but seams like every time i have the time to take bumper off and prep and paint it is raining or something.

 

Don't use rustoleum! I used it for the tub in my jeep and it scratches so easily. Anything that rubs up against it, I can see bare metal.

 

Well I already have the cans so I'm going to use it. If it fucks up ill redo it. I think that's what gid used on his front bumper and it looks good. Maybe it's just because you put it on a jeep....

 

Did you sand it down before you put it on? Was the humidity high, a lot comes into factor when you paint...

 

hahahaha always gotta hate on the jeep! and its on my front bumper, rear bumper, and sliders. All have held up well. Ive gotten a few chips here and there and I just spray a little bit over that spot! BOOM!!!

 

Yeah I do. Just like we give Taylor shirt for his mall crawler. But I think it sees more dirt and mud than Weston's Tacoma.

 

Yeah, I sanded it down to metal and cleaned it with acetone. But I also used a paint brush and a roller to apply it. 3 coats.

Hahahaha nope. Mine is "off road" a lot actually. We've got a creek at the house that I have to cross to get to my dads office/my work. It's a dirt road from my house there.
