Just bought a 2013 Tacoma. Nice Truck, factory floor mats are awful, don't go far enough up. Looked around here briefly and saw recommendations for Weathertech mats ($169 +/-). Sounds really high to me. Other recommendations on floor mats? If I have to shell out for the expensive ones I will, carpet is already wearing, but that seems ridiculous.

    Thanks

They are a ridiculous price because they are worth it. First pair I bought was for a 4runner and I loved them. I then bought my Jeep and i thought I could live without them; it just was a huge pain. When I recover from some of my necessary service costs, I will be ordering them without hesitation. Trust me, get the digital fit and you will never have to worry about spilling or mud again.

The newer floor mats are way cheaper than the earlier gen 2 ones were. Ive been told if I take my 06 to the dealer to take them out as they will replace them due to a recall knee jerk reaction in the accelerator sticking and that was the cause. I don't off road and would like some Lloyds in it if they would put Tacoma embroidered in them.

Someone here posted some 3D liners that looked really good! I have no experience with them but looked like they might be worth checking out!

I got Ducks Unlimited mats at Academy for $40 about 2 years ago. They've stood up to plenty of wear and tear. They come with extra rubber, so you can cut them to make them fit perfectly.

I've had Weathertechs in the last 4 cars and trucks I've owned. They are worth it.

the weathertech liners use the same twist locks that the factory mats use. They do not budge.
Oh yeah, best money I've spent on my truck also.

I don't think so, there is no option for that on the ordering. Why would you want that anyway, the backs are smooth so they may slide around.

The holes have raised edges, so no crap seeps through onto the carpet, if that is what you are worried about.
