As a few of you know I've been looking for a cheap paint job to finally get rid of the panda look. I was asking around work and found a place Im going to hit up.

They have three stages. $195 $295 and $595 for a paint job.

They are called riverside economy paint and collision.

They have all sorts of 5 star ratings and I know ive been quoted hundreds just for a clip and even over 1000 for front clip and bedsides.

This 195 paint job might be what alot of people are looking for. Im going to hit them up and try them out. Just a heads up to other people looking to paint their fenders for pretty damn cheap.

    Whole vehicle.

And for 200 bucks I'd rather have someone else do it and it actually look good, than rattle can it.

$200 to paint the whole truck? Honestly, that doesnt even cover the cost of primer, base, and clearcoat for an entire vehicle. Are you sure they're not just pissing on it?

This is what I would worry about with the 7.5. You can add in stronger CV's but these stub shafts seem to be almost as weak as the stock CV's. I know of 3 now that have broken before a CV broke, granted wear and tear on them likely plays in to this.

Just got clarification from them. The 195 is for a car and 295 is for a mid size truck. From the people I've heard they do a good job. But honestly I've been quoted way more for someone doing it out if their garage and all I want is the clip and bedsides to be the same color as the cab.

It's pretty much an identical part in the 8" with the same shortcoming with people breaking those before R&P. So where's the value of the 8 over the 7.5?

I've yet to hear about someone breaking one in an 8". I know they have it, but like the CV's I assume it is bigger and stronger than the 7.5's.

I did the bedsides my self and the cost of primer paint and clear alone was over $150 just for barely enough to cover the bedsides. $295 is way to cheap there has to be a fine print somewhere

They have a business and don't pay as much for the paint nor pay taxes????

I don't know though because I have a hard time believing this is true, but it would be great if it is. I need some glass painted and the price is right.

    Lots of expensive shit
Single stage paint, terrible prep, minimal masking, and tons of overspray is what 295 gets you.

Yeah , that's what I'm expecting. But most guys rattle can their trucks. So it seems like a cheap alternative to make it somewhat better than a rattle can job.
