You headed through the course? If so I am sure I will see you around at SWCS since I instruct the AIT portion.

Airborne here...Benning in 92...Marine Reconnaissance (1st Recon Bn). Mostly with T10, -1B. I'll never forget the time I got sick (hangover) and barfed into TWO bags. It seemed safe for me to jump out with one bag in hand while I hand my static line over to the jumpmaster. The other bag I left. Ooops. It rolled around and broke open. The grunts catching a ride in the C141 (maybe 40-50 of them) all got sick. Needless to say I was doing body builders under the wing with the crew chief all over my ass! Those were some great memories!!! Watching the plane unload with grunts heading right over to the dumpster with bags in hand! hahahaha

I am a 5-jump-chump! I went to Jump school after AIT, then to Hawaii where I ETS'd, never jumping again. When I see someone whereing wings on a hat, or on their vehicle I ask them, "Hey Airborne what are the three rules of he air?"

I often think how different life would have been taken different paths. I have battle buddies that are E-8's, Drill Sgts, Recruiters, and probably just about everywhere else.

Ex paratrooper here. I ETS'd in 2003. Was in the 1/504 PIR, Ft Bragg NC. 37 jumps. It was a good experience but it's hard for a Hawaii boy to live in Fayetteville NC.

Earned my Master Parachutist badge about a month ago. My 65th jump was an intentional water jump.

I graduated Airborne 13 AUG 2010 with five jumps. I made two more in Ranger School. Now I'm in a striker unit, so I won't jump until I'm a captain.

The attachment is a frame I had made to commemorate the occasion - my father flew out from Portland, OR to pin my jump wings. Those are my original wings he pinned that day, and the coin is the same club coin they've probably been selling for years; I made all five jumps with it in my shoulder pocket.

Jump school in JUN2010, got assigned to 3/5th SFG (A), left group last june, and have been chairborne since.

I miss jumping. As terrified as I am of heights, i think the UH-60 was my favorite jump. Followed closely by CH-47.

First off, thank you all for serving!

My sister got accepted to Airborne school (starts this May). Super stoked for her, and had to represent:

I have jumped (tandem of course) only once, and was one of the best experiences of my life.
