My truck was a NH truck before it wound up down here. I had to have the frame replaced after my spare tire fell out while I was on the highway
From what i understand they are now doing a recall on just that part. Guess i wasnt the only one with that problem.

It scared the shit out of me. I was going 70 when it happened, so my spare was too but 25 feet high. Luckily it wasnt a busy time of the day.

The water pump lasting to 285 is even more impressive then the motor. Sid you do anything special ? Change the antifreeze often to lubricate it ? My 2000 needed one at 130,000. Congratulations !

My aunt just totaled her 2002 ext cab. Before that, she used it for escorting mobile homes, it had 450,000 on it. Only work ever done was a throw-out bearing in the clutch/transmission! Not sure if 2.4l or 2.7l

picked up my 97 4x4 2.7 a couple months back and the odometers broken at 248,000, previous owner said its been broke for a year or better and truck should be in the 260-270k region. the thing seems to run like a champ, but it lived its last few years on a farm so i pretty much had to replace every wearable item in the front susp. i.e. bushings, balljoints etc. and one rear shackle. now she's back on the road again i intend to see how long she'll last and dont intend on babying it.

That's about when I started, i jus turned it up to 12 psi but it leans out sometimes. Im fixn to get a aem fic so I can tune it. So that will fix the leaning out. Only thing I've done is put pink top injectors in with a 190 walbro pump. It runs stock untill boosted, its great.
