you could always plastidip the chrome to see how u like it. then paint it if you do or jus peel it off if u don't. i dipped my rear bumper to see how i liked it now im gonna leave it until it starts peeling off or gets messed up then do it better

1 can of plasti-dip can do your whole bumper. $6 a can at Lowes if not less. I dip shit on my truck all the time. It's addicting.

Yeah I desperately need something other than a spacer for my ARB lol... My 285s are rubbing a little and my front end seems to sag more everyday - and that's without the winch. So that 720# spring rate that everyone talks about is okay with me! lol

Yeah, I have the exact same spacer you're talking about. If you take it off soon, I might have someone that will buy it from you. He's looking to get the 3" like ours.

I would wait and put something worth the money on (OME,ICON,King,Fox,...) In the mean time we can get your bumper lined up better.

I would love to get the bumper lined up better. I can bring my sawzall with me and we can cut the plastic back some more.

The only thing I'm worried about with OME is that with the ARB and the winch that I might not get 3 full inches. I know they sell a lift enhancer kit for $60 that I might could use on top of the 886s, but Im just thinking that maybe I could get away with just doing the pro comp coilovers with their pro runner shocks and adjusting the seat setting to match for 3" of lift.... That's what the Pro Comp tech had emailed me back saying. The only reason I trust him over 4WP is because his job is with Pro Comp and not 4WP.... I don't trust anything 4WP says.

Yes, it is. But you have to spray on about 4 coatings for it to be able to peal off. Otherwise you'll wind up scraping it with your finger nails to get it off... That stuff comes off of pretty much everything though assuming you put enough layers on. I did it to my TRD sport wheels and was very happy with it. I just didn't tape it off right and so a lot got on my tires and looked like the grim reaper's cape flailing off going down the road lol. If you're doing the bumper, just tape off what you don't want to hit and just be careful peeling the tape off so you don't grab the plastidip with it when you peel it off.

I think you should do it all in black. Just keep in mind that your toolbox will no longer match your truck if you get rid of all the chrome. You might even consider doing the Toyota emblem in red or something else or blacking it out too. I saw that before and kinda liked it. Just don't do purple... even if it is for ECU, that's just gay on a truck
