Anybody else's pups get seasonal allergies? Our Olde English Bulldogge is going through a rough spat this last week. She sleeps in bed with us at night and has been up the majority of the last few nights rolling around, licking her legs, scratching and rubbing her head/snout. Miserable is an understatement for all of us!

More baths starting tonight and a seasonal allergy supplement starts tomorrow. Anyone else have any experience?

My Yorkshire Terrior has allergies and they manifest themselves with runny eyes and constant paw licking (due to swelling). My vet has us put her on a TINY dose of benadryl in the morning, crushed up in her food and it really helps. We ramp up her baths and after running around outside, she gets her paws and belly rinsed off.

Seems to really curb the symptoms

Do they lay against the door? This guy does. He knows my schedule pretty well. And he knows when I'm leaving or not. If I'm sticking around the house, he will lay against the door I walked out of. He's a lover for sure.

Luckily my last few have not had allergy issues. My Dad's little mutt had bad allergies to lots of stuff (other dogs/cats, spring-fall)

Also, Children's Benadryl is the same stuff the vet gives for a fraction of the cost. In case you want to skip the visit fee.

Looks like Hank. I wanted to get him into a few competitions this summer, but never made it. Too busy... Makes me feel pretty worthless.:(

He sure did like to fly though.

Nothing really. It originally started just off a sand bar. He figured out that he could get to his toy faster if he didnt run through the water, so he started jumping after his first steps in the water. I took him to a dock and would hold him at the start of the dock, get him all excited and then throw his toy. He did the rest.

    They all do that.

Helps a lot if they like to retrieve and if they like the water. So work on those two things first...slowly.

Her name is Gadget and she has been on almost every wheeling, hiking, fishing, camping, etc trip I have been on since I got her. And the passenger seat is hers. Period. You sit there and bam she will jump on your lap and stay there the whole time

Looks just like my moms dog. Hard to get a photo of because she's so dark.
