The trees are still are here and still full of character...

I'm currently sitting under a few of them waiting for class to start. There's about 10 different arborist/tree maintenance/ landscaping companies checking out all of the trees on campus to make sure they're safe.

Prayers go out to the family though, first day of school and they lose their kid... That's just rough man...

Gonna suck if they decide to start taking down the ones that 'might' be a problem in the future.

I don't see that happening. The trees represent too much to the school. It was a very sad accident that happened, but in all honesty for the past few days campus has continued on like nothing has happened.

Well does Fairfield count as the Bay Area? Fire took out, last I heard 7, houses along I-80 yesterday. I was getting a haircut a couple blocks from where it started at the time.

Edit: make that 15 home. 7 Alarm fire

    .
Sounded like it was probably started by some asshat tossing a lit cig out the window along the freeway.

    Bud skid plates are great.

That said, he's on the east coast and the things are effin' heavy. So you may want to consider getting them from a closer supplier - relentless or pelfreybuilt, just so 150lbs of steel doesn't have to be shipped so far.
