Well guys if ya go back and look at my previous threads started, you'll see I got rid of my 2006 DCSB TRD Sport BSP back in 2010. Ever since I haven't been happy. I bought a brand new Silverado 1500 11 months ago and it's burned oil since day 1, which GM said was normal due to AFM. Well that was it for me, I went back to a Tacoma on Monday. Picked up a 2010 TRD Off Road, DCSB in Barcelona Red. I love it. Backup camera is pretty nice too.

I have no real major "mods". Going to keep it stock height and stock wheels with stock tire size. Planning on the "clean" mod look.

    UPDATE 09/05/2013:

Ok so I am eating my own words here, I couldn't stand it anymore. Lifted the truck and here is the mod list

OME 884 coils (trim packer on driver side)
Bilstein 5100s all the way around
    Wheeler's 1.5" AAL
    Goodyear Duratrac 265/75/16
    Level 8 Guardian's

^^^ Boring:rolleyes: haha. That keeps your wallet fatter though, between the money not spent on parts and keeping the fuel economy up:D

Welcome back to the light side:D

after modding my first Taco, an f-150, and recently a silverado, i have learned the hard way the best method is to keep it "clean". it sucks because these trucks look great lifted and modded, but i think i'll try the clean look this time.

Very nice looking paint on that truck. Sorry about the bad American truck experience, but welcome back.

Thanks, I have always been a "silver only" kind of owner. It hides dirt and scratches so well. But I love the way the Barcelona Red looks on these trucks with the TRD Off Road decal.

As for the American truck experience, I should've known better. Thing is these Tacomas are more American made than the "American" trucks

Thanks, I chose these over the BFG's due to weight. I love how they BFgs look but load range E tires just aren't for me

I like em a lot, kinda remind me of the TRD beadlocks without the chrome lip.

That is the exact reason I am not going crazy with my "new" taco. I owned a Wrangler lifted 3" on BFG K/Os and a bunch of other mods and it got to be too much. I like clean and simple.

Most of the mods I have done are interior and don't affect the "clean" look. I dig your build though!
