I am not anti gun by any means but signs like that could come back to bite you in the ass even if you made a justified shoot. Why not stick with a no trespassing sign.... less for others to read into or provoke.

Edit: before I get flamed your sign is on the tame end of the spectrum of these signs but still is not really necessary IMO

 

No flaming from me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, I love my sign and so does the mail man, and UPS guy

 

Do what I did when I was living in Kempsville between a ghetto and a food lion...clean all your guns o the porch and always carry open ever single time you come outside. Don't take shit from a single pink out there.


Had some kids throwing bricks over a car in broad daylight and they didn't see me sitting there smoking. Let out a what the fuck that brought people out of their houses. Kids claimed they didn't do it till I pulled my 40 out and told them to go get the bricks and put them back.

A few days before I moved out my wife caught one sitting on the hood of her brand new car. I came out and again belted a neighborhood deafening wtf and made the fucking kids pull up their pants and run like hell with my AK. They later came back and apologized which I didn't accept and told them to walk on the other side if the street.

So I grabbed a 38sp 6" and stepped out. Found two kods running for their lives trying to get away from a cat full of kids with a bb gun being shot at. Told the two kids running to get in the house and took aim at the bb gun shooters. When they realized there was a real gun pointed at them they floored it. Took thw two kids home in my truck. The girl's dad ended up being a buddy to this day.

Trick is that the gun is the great equalizer. It doesn't make weak people stronger it has quite the opposite effects. It makes bullies and thugs powerless.

Learned a lot from my grandfather...had a no trespassing sign and the jehova witness groups would come by and he wouldn't say a word but would grab that same 38 and fire 2 in air. Out in the middle of nowhere that was common place...

 

walmart has cameras for like $50 each. decent quality i think ive got about 7 of them.

The way I interpreted it was you were about to be another loco story.

 

I am brutal to salesmen...I don't want what they sell. And I am trying to be better these days so I tell them to get off my property...when they try and continue to sell I start counting back from 10...they are usually gone by 5.

 

I would stick with a no trespassing sign about 10 ft up from the curb. if you detain him beyond the sign i think youd be ok. I like the gun signs but that's just asking them to break in and try to steal them. I wanted to wrap my front door with No Trespassing Violators will be shot, survivors will be shot again. that with some camo dreaps in the front windows youd think they get the point.
