    Do they just slip on? I've seen some cover require some dis-assembly to get a snug fit.

    They slip on. The bendy part is held the the seat by a foam rod stuffed in a sleeve. You stuff this bulky part in the crevice between the ass part and the back part. You could also use a PVC pipe if you pick the right diameter.
