:eek:i was actually surprised w/ my truck. I went and came back on the same tank of gas and still had a little less than a quarter of a tank.

Longest so far is 600 miles round trip moving my sister up north. I made the trip along with my dad, both our tacos were loaded up full going there. I got decent MPG, over 25 (27 iirc) I just went around 55-65 mph and stayed in the slow lane. I'm planning a trip up to Vegas later this spring.

Last summer I drove a 1350 mile round trip to visit my parents at their summer place in Canada. That gave me some great mileage :D

i just clocked a little over 2500 in the last week. drove from west palm beach to baltimore and then to philly and back. averaged about 18mpg doing between 70 and 85 most of the way. off the top of my head it cost me about $500 in gas and now i need another oil change. i did keep all of my receipts and when i get time i am going to calculate my mpg a little more accurately.

Is it a crime to revive an old thread? :D

I'm a huge fan of road trips, so I wanted to hear some more stories. :)

I took my Taco from San Diego to Kansas through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. On the way back I went through Colorado then back down through New Mexico and Arizona.

3,000+ miles. It was fun. :)

Crazy storms! I got caught in a flash flood in New Mexico. That was freaking scary, but sort of fun once you got out of it and looked back on it. :D
