What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Get some uniball UCAs ASAP!

 

It wasn't too bad, the hard part for me was making the bracket so i could aim the center one. They work awesome on the trails at night. I'm thinking about getting rid of them and putting in a light bar.

 

Both are 60's full width from a D250 Ram apparently 5:88. Not linking it Ill be staying leaf

Yeah I love mine as spots I will probably get a roof bar eventually that will fill the gaps with a flood pattern

 

You come upon those military wheels on Craigslist aswell haha? If only I had 16.5 rims.. :/

 

Is the uniball style much better than say the Light Racing ones? I still haven't made made up my mind yet... or saved enough..

Finished up the mods to my bedrack and got the tent mounted up in prep for an upcoming trip.

 

Not sure about price on winches - i offered $200 and the guy said yes.

It's had 2 owners.
Should i buy??

 

I dont know alot about winches either (past 4 wheeler winches 2-4k) but $200 sounds like a pretty good deal if everythings there and it works.

and it's a warn so it's a good winch

 

I'm excited for my switches to get here and to wire everything up, then it'll be a waiting game for the bumper so finally mount the lights. Did you do the HID conversion mod, or just leave em as is?

hard to say, if it runs i would probably go for it. if he will let you split the motor and gears so you can remove the drum. you'll be able to see enough in the gear box to tell if its fucked, also to make sure the motor spins freely. its easy on the non integrated winches but not sure about the integrated ones.

 

Guess ill have to get it - he said it works perfect but he sold the truck it came off.

 

You'll probably need to cut into your grill for the integrated solenoid to fit, but otherwise it's a good winch. $200 is a good price.

 

Amazon has it listed for $600
I'd hop on it if it's $200 and runs well.

 

Changed oil and filter, and greased the driveline.....172K miles
