Thanks, Lisa! I'm learning to sleep in 3 hour increments... So far it's going alright. We'll see how I'm doing in a few days though.

Changing my t-case oil to Mobil 1 synthetic. My t-case has 70k on it. Holy dear lord this old oil smells SO BAD!

    gumasagu_27388c7c4e57d409919f55866c7c803fb01122c1.jpg

I'm changing the t-case oil because the bottom gasket let go and started dripping (as you can tell from the oil stains on the bottom of the t-case)

Gonna do the rear diff next!

    Ninja edit:
Changed the rear diff oil. That was WAY worse than the t-case. I had a little water in the rear diff and got some milky/sludgey/rancid/black oil.

I flushed the sludge out by filling the diff a little with the bottom plug out until it ran clear.

Medical marijuana law got passed in CT :rasta: in a few months we will be one of the few states with legal dispensaries and growers. Pretty crazy.

just had a hell of a day! i went out on a friend's boat, but that's a different story... anyway! parking my truck on the side of the road, near the boat launching ramp, there is a little bit of an incline on the side of the road that is a designated parking area for boaters. perfectly safe, I've parked there every time I go out on the boat (a lot) but what was different this time was how much it rained yesterday... so I pull off the road to park and almost instantly the whole side of the road caves out from beneath me! the front end slides down into this newly formed ditch/hole, and the rear left tire gets up off the ground about a foot and a half. the whole time this is happening I know it's going to roll over if I move the wheel or do anything... so the wheel is in the air, and the truck is teetering, about to roll into the bushes and people start crowding around and a few started filming, I think, and no one thinks to see if I might need help. finally some guy asks if I have a recovery rope, and I told him I have a tow strap in the rear right seat. when I leaned over to get it, just in case, the truck stated rolling towards the right, so I snatched the strap, and snapped back, luckily the truck stopped going that way... anyway, as he was going to get his truck I thought I'd try out the locker, so put her in 4lo, engaged the locker, and slowly backed out. I got up on the road, by this time there was a huge crowd, cops and all... and everyone started cheering and clapping! ... so that was my day! highway department is going to fix that parking area... haha, some dude rode by and said he's never seen a truck so far over... anyway, lockers are Kick-Ass, and sinkholes are scary. and the highway department is filling that hole and making it safe for non locked off-road vehicles... I wish I had someone take a picture. I'll go back early tomorrow and get a picture of the hole that formed before they fill it in...

Don't count your chickens..it will happen but they're still dicking around with it here, plus some cities and towns are trying to not have the dispensaries.

I say just fuckin legalize it already. Among other reasons:

Regulation..no horror stories about someone getting a loaded bag.

Taxation..just like tobacco now, maybe it will ease up a tax on the average guy. Doubt it but that would be nice.

Law enforcement..not only less people in prison but less of The Blue Man's time dealing with it.

That's why you buy DOM sliders with kickout. That'll never happen again. Boom they nail the DOM and now the door doesn't shut.

AWESOME I live 4 miles from the state line.
I mounted my roomates 35x12.5-15 on one of my wheels and It rubbed at full lock but the rear was fine
If you need any help ask
