Yup. Such a bummer. Would've been perfect cover to stalk into too. Oh well. Still have another week before I have to head to Corvallis. Just gotta keep the fingers crossed. Its my 1st bow season, I would like to get the chance to at least get my stalk on even if I don't bag one.

Yeah for sure I don't bow hunt but I would like to maybe give it a shot next year. Way more of an adrenalin rush. Last year I was with a friend who called in a nice spike to about 20 yards while I recorded it. But he shoots for horns so didn't shoot it. Ended up getting spooked and walked away.

I'm not sure, I took two weeks off. I'll be in the area for awhile. We're doing crater lake and going to Seattle as well just haven't planned it out yet.

I picked up a set on CL for $80, primed them matte grey and painted them flat black. Love them. They will look sweet grey.

I looked for months and never saw any, finally put an ad in auto section saying I was looking, got a call the next day from a retired guy who kept them from his base model tundra. Was going to use them as winter tires/wheels but he never got around to it.

    Good luck!

Let me check mine on my day off. If its what you're looking for you can take it whenever you're in the pdx area. I got my truck used from private seller so it didn't come with the tools to remove it from underneath my truck. I've got a full size spare so no loss for me.

Jonnie do you still have that diff drop you never installed? I am getting some hella vibes and trying anything to get rid of them. I want to install a diff drop this weekend before I leave, hoping to find one fast. also need to check my carrier bearing and ujoints, might need some help getting them replaced.

edit; anyone have thoughts about just stacking washers as a diff drop lol?

Don't get one. I was thinking I needed one last week. I talked to a knowledgeable friend and did some research here. People think they idea is they will correct CV angles, but they really don't do much, and instead are probably more harmful. They change geometry on the CV and are shoving and pulling. One member here also ended up having the diff mounts shear - do some searching and you can find it. If anything, you WANT the CV to be the weak part out of the equation. It's the cheap part and is expected to wear out - all you are doing is speeding up the process with the lift. If your angles are bad, drop the front.

Besides, diff drops aren't for vibes. That's carrier bearing drops. You'll need to be testing that along with shimming the rear to correct angles.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
They actually do help 1st gens which is what he has. It's ok though, I brought all that up once too to a first genner

Mmm from what I've researched it helps more so on the 1st Gens than 2nd Gens... but still a good investment since it's only $30. Check out one of my posts in a particular suspension lift thread:

    Right on!

Have another potential spare rim that's been offered to me as I've got a spare as well - so that'll leave one more.

Not going to be back in the lower 48 until middle of October, up in Kodiak until then. Actually, anchored up off the Southwest corner of the island waiting out some shitty weather. At least I can browse TW.

Wasn't sure what kind of responses that I'd get on here about them.. Glad you love 'em. Think they'd look awesome with matte gray paint!

Looks like I can either try and gather OEM spare tire steelies, or try and score a set of Tundra take-offs..
