The HUD feature works decent.. It has to be very dark and you have to cram your near the glass on the dash. Also the phone needs to be super bright so I'd install an app that allows you to blow out the display color settings and use lime green gauges for the best effect. I used it for awhile with my HP Touchpad tablet until it almost flew out the window when turning. Now I only use it if I'm driving long distances at night.

Also when you get everything let me know and I'll give you direction on how to get transmission temp to show up. It's monitored but you can't see it by default to it takes some messing around with to get it to work.

So torque does take a lit of the blue tooth audio recourses and I did notice a bit of breaking in audio streaming today when testing. I am using an HP touch pad that never was great at BT anyways. Also I have about 20 dials on my torque app which slows it down as well.

Cosby is this what you are running for Xmsn temps?

    Temp at pan.

    PID: 2182
    Equation: ((((A*256)+B)*(7/100)-400)/10)

    Temp in converter.
    PID: 2182
    Equation: ((((C*256)+D)*(7/100)-400)/10)

Pretty sure that is correct but I don't have my tablet in front of me to double check. I'll take a peek when I get home and let you know.

I need some assistance in loading files. I loaded a few audio files onto a USB device and would like to upload them onto my iTunes and ultimately on my ipodizzle. Can someone take me through a step by step of this please?

Drag and drop from your usb device to your folder of choice on your computer... then drag and drop from that folder to itunes. Plug in ipod. Select music to sync. Sync ipod. Done.

So, the left click was giving me issues on my Logitech G500, decided today to say fuck it and picked up a new Corsair M65... and I have to say.... this thing is sooo nice. Smooth, "sniper" button with rapid DPI change is pretty legit... and it's suprisingly comfy. I think it's a winner.

So i think I am just going to scrub my current PC tower, then scrap it. It is too old, and the tower was not nice enough to keep for the next build (whenever that happens)

The power supply should still be good, and the monitors are ok.

Does anyone want any of the parts?

Colby gets the hard drives, I told him months ago that they were his when i was going to get rid of 'em.

I am just going to start from scratch whenever I am ready to build another.

My G500 did the same thing. Logitech fixed it for free.

Fuck yeah hard drives! If anyone wants to ever get rid of old hard drives let me know and I'll come get them. I use the parts quit a bit out of them.

Side note, Microsoft Surface Tablet is shit. I had 2 updates, netflix and one system update. I started the update at 11:30, went to lunch.

Its at 15% finished right now.6ydateqy_0fc250ab30ecf6d022350c1b9b25f2e8de6a2a7a.jpg

    Sure can.

You'll go into settings and create custom PID's. Make sure you enter in the info 100% correctly. Then load a gauge of your choice and choose the second tranny temp PID you create.

    For sensor 1 (Pan Temp):

    OBD2 Mode and PID:
    21D9
    Long Name:
    Transmission Fluid Temperature 1
    Short Name:
    TFT 1
    Minimum Value:
    0.0
    Maximum value:
    220.0
    Scale factor:
    x1
    Unit Type:
°F (there is a degree symbol in Torque)
    Equation:
    ((((E*256)+F) * (7/100) – 400)/10)
    OBD Header to use:
    left blank

For sensor 2 (Converter outlet temp):

    OBD2 Mode and PID:
    21D9
    Long Name:
    Transmission Fluid Temperature 2
    Short Name:
    TFT 2
    Minimum Value:
    0.0
    Maximum value:
    220.0
    Scale factor:
    x1
    Unit Type:
°F (there is a degree symbol in Torque)
    Equation:
    ((((G*256)+H) * (7/100) – 400)/10)
    OBD Header to use:
    left blank

Windows 8 is just horrible. So the update was a security patch and netfilx app. Took almost 3 full hours.

If I were you, I'd find someone who's a student, get windows 7 on DVD and bring her laptop to my house.. We will back it up and downgrade to Win7 which doesn't suck.
