How cool would it be to have this on our Tacoma's. What's your guys thoughts on the tundra stamping? Would you want it on the tacos someday?

Would be cool, but they would have to change the look of the tailgate. Not sure it would flow with the current design...

I think they do that so you can't remove the name. i do not like this. I prefer the clean approach.

Its cool, not original though as stamped tailgates have been around before this. Me i prefer the clean look as well, that "4x4" badge placement is horrible.

Kinda forgot about this. It creates one more thing that all tundras have, making all tundras a little more alike. No matter what you do to your tundra to make it stand out your tundra stamping will match with that ugly base model tundra. But idk I still like it!

It looks cool on the pictures - haven't seen it in person yet so I'll wait to pass final judgement...

I had to reply to this because I started howling when I saw it and my girlfriend came to look and was like "ok.....?" she didn't get the funny no matter how much I explained. I think the tail would be interesting... but this pic is better!! Well played sir.

No emblems always look better. Unless your Mexican, then everything you can stick on the outside of your vehicle is cool

Your wish came true, as this is evident of the 2016 Tacoma and apparently more prominent than the version on the Tundra. Looking at the date you posted this, around this time in 2013, such decisions were likely being made by Toyota managing personnel on the 3rd generation.

Any thoughts on why you think the 2016 will have this?

Bah, I like the look of how the Tundra is... We'll see how it is in application though

I would prefer "TOYOTA" stamped into it.
