I was in the passenger seat and witnessed it first hand, from a stop she was turning a corner and it had just rained for the first time in weeks, the roads were like ice. Front end slams to the left up a shallow median and land hovered over it.. now my truck has vibes worse than before, i fear the bill at the shop, what could it be?

Thank god there wasn't 1 more car in that turning lane on the other side of the median or my truck would be fucked

Just went up a curb? Are you 4x4 or prerunner, and any lift on it?

May have rocked the wheel out of balance. Next time you're driving straight under 50mph with the vibes, flip it to 4WD. If the vibes go away, it's the bearing inside the diff.

About to head out for the day now, i'll give it a try, thanks man.

It's just the oil from the roads, but when it doesn't rain for weeks on end then first day of rain the roads are insanely slick here. That and i'm not happy with these goodyear tires that came on it

If you were in the passenger seat, why was your sister driving to begin with?

    :stirthepot:

As far as what it could be, there is a huge range. It could be as simple as knocking the truck out of alignment, bent wheel, thrown wheel weight, bent tie rod, etc. Depends on how hard you hit and what actually took the impact. Have a shop check it out sooner rather than later but I would at least crawl under there to make sure nothing looks bent or cracked before driving too much further.

Sometimes I wish I kept buying manual when I bought a new vehicle. No one around me except for 2 people can drive standard. Even though my truck is an automatic now I only let other people drive if it's an emergency. That's only happened once. :)

    Haha! Was your friend pissed?

You let a woman drive, that was your first mistake.

Does the vibe change under braking?

    You need a girlfriend.

I'd wouldn't be surprised if you didn't have a girlfriend.

Oh sorry for speaking out of turn Mr.California. My apologizes!

I didn't know how to do the third one. I wasn't sure if he was ever in the area of where the OP is from. I wasn't going to assume that since I am from the same, southern part of the Province/State as the OP.

Yeah it kinda feels like that vibe is worse than before when i brake now. I already had what i believe is the drive-line vibe, i stuck it in 4h while doing 60-70 (speed i need to reach before vibes start) and it actually smoothed out big time..
