So the burgati was .2 slower off the light and .2 faster at the finish. That's amazing. Killed it. And while .4s doesn't seem like a lot..that's huge in a drag race

Juke held its own..still fugly as hell

Yeah, once you got above 4,000 rpm you could pull out on me. Part of that is the extra 600 lbs I'm carrying. Would be interesting to see if its the same ar 2000 ft or sea level.

Man, I think the Juke is ugly, especially next to the Bughatti. It is kool that it is as fast as it is tho. Did I see the speed of the Veyron correctly at the end of that standing mile? 309 mph?

Plus..weight difference is huge I bet.

Is the juke stripped out too? Or is it like the Veyron with AC and all that stuff?

 

Yeah, just stopped the video at the data sheet, it was kph not mph. Still, was 25 kph faster than the juke at the finish line.

We weren't going so fast that aero played a roll. So I don't think the RTT (besides its weight) was a factor. We did this on a short, uphill section on one of the switchback on the beartooth.

Shit there is a shop in cody with a 2000hp Dyno just like theirs and they setup motors all the time.

Bet I could do the same for cheaper still.

First time? Probably not yes. I certain I could make a good 6-800hp first go around tho. Then over 1000.

But I'd want to know how to weld exhaust stuff first..need a custom manifold.

Just thought I would check in over here. Just bought my first Tacoma, a 2013 T|X Baja. Coming from a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD. It ate fuel like it was its job, and I never really towed anything, so just couldn't justify it anymore.

I live in Boise but work in the oil fields in ND, so I wanted something that would let me bomb down the tractor trailer beaten roads dirt roads out there without getting beaten to death like I was in the Duramax.

Anyway, a few pictures.

On my maiden voyage in the dirt. Headed up 8th Street, then took the Ridge Road over to Bogus and back down. Made it all the way in 2WD.
