So what you all preferring/getting. I love the way 5k bulbs look but 4300k have more output. Opinions if possible or help from TRS too :)

As well I am looking into a FX-R kit either stage III or IV. So the GB discount doesn't apply to Orsam STI or CBI bulbs. The Phillips are a 4300k bulb, where as I like the look of 5k bulbs so is there anyway to get the ordains with the GB. I have also been told that 4300k will "whiten up" after a while. Just wondering what your recommendations are

I went with the Phillips 4300k bulbs. Wife's TSX apparently has the same bulbs, and I like the color.

I personally like the warmer color, because it renders colors better than a cooler blue light. I've had a few LED flashlights modified with 4500 and 4000k LEDs and I actually like the color of the 4000 better. It is almost pure white.

I think it depends on what you want. Granted the warmer temps are not going to get you "noticed" as having an HID setup, but what's the point, more light output with true color rendition, or the guy next to you noticing you have HID?

I've got the d2s in 6k and it looks amazing but light output is deff not that great especially in the rain but it's far better then any halogen out there

Ok sweet I guess I will just have to try them out then. I am not after getting notice honestly. I just want to get as much light output as possible. If the 4300k will do it then I am good with that. It is warmer but I have never been a fan of colder colors.

    Thanks for the input bud

Nice see and that is what I am after is just more output. Mainly the spread it indeed what I want too. Thanks for the pics :)

So from the different kits is it basically just customizing your lights more and more? Or is one of them far superb and brighter than everything else? Sorry I just don't know much about it and when I look at all of the options, well there are so many.

FXR's are supposedly the best; wider throw, cleaner cutoff, bigger reflector bowl. Install is more complicated with cutting and epoxy. The mini's are good enough for me and the install is simple. You can google lots of output pics for the fxr, d2s, and mh1.

Aight so they won't give me the discount on the kit I need. Not a big deal. I'm still gonna buy it anyway. I emailed him back and asked if my order can still go towards this overall total so hopefully that answer is yes and ill finally add my name to the count. If he saids no then fuck all yall. I'm ridin solo. :D

Quick question regarding the svs bulbs. OP says the discount excludes svs bulbs I will still get the 25% off the rest of the kit and just have to pay full price for the svs's correct?

Anyone explain how to get the D2S connector off the bulb? Kinda frustrated that a test fit results in it being locked completely on the bulb. What happens if this thing burns out? Also haven't cleaned the bulb yet, although it hasn't been touched by me.

It's just a quarter-turn, opposite direction you turned it when you installed it.

And don't attempt to clean the bulb. Just leave the cover on it until you're ready to insert it into the housing.
