    If it really was just a stomach virus and he's over it, AND assuming he did conditioning work in the off season... I'd bet he can get back in a week.

    I had a TERRIBLE stomach virus a few months ago... talking exploding at both ends... and it passed in 36 hours. I was fine a day later. (Granted, I'm far from a top tier athlete and I wasn't doing anything like what they have to do... but still....)

    I had to be up a 5 am so I went to bed about halftime and missed the excitement also.

    Yeah, no shit! :eek:

    I was thinking if the weather in Columbia has been the same as here that maybe he and many others aren't/weren't ready. It's been really unseasonably cool here through the last several weeks until now that is. I'm talking in the 60's and low 70's compared to the usual 95+. Temps and humidity are almost back to normal now. :( Maybe that was the problem? I'm worried about our guys due to this, but at least it's a night game to start so it wont be under the sun and a bit cooler.
