I just grabbed some 4.88's along with and ARB front locker for my 3rd gen 4Runner - not much of a discount on the completed thirds though.

It's hard to pass up ECGS though as they do so many installs and gear set ups I have all the faith in the world in their set up. Definitely looking forward to getting them installed!!

So just gears, lockers, and install kits no thirds?

I appreciate the GP effort, but as I mentioned back on page 1, it would be the end of September before I could swing this. I would need the R&P installed anyway (not just a box of parts) and would want this done by ECGS, or one of very few others with a well proven track record.

I wonder how many of the original 20+ people on the list followed through and ordered

I didn't. I decided to save my money towards bigger axles rather than build up what I want to cut out anyways.

    Yep.
I had to back out :( coilovers, 35" tires, wheels a bunch of little stuff kicked the shit out of my play funds.

For my situation, assembled members will be needed anyway.

Don't go to 4wheelparts. They won't do it. I walked in there with Nitro gears, install kits and a locker and dude told me he has been a Toyota guy for over 20 years and never heard of nitro gears. They were crap gears because the only good gears are Yukon (which is what 4wheelparts sells) and they don't install shitty parts. I laughed and walked tha fuck out

This also had me confused. Also confirmed with ECGS that the 121 is the proper locker before placing my order.
