Finally found a spot about 10 minutes away. Almost got stuck and had zero recovery gear with me... Not going to happen again.

 

haha, such a terrible idea especially with no winch!

 

I now know that from first hand knowledge.. Lift, plate bumper and winch are in the works. Still a ways out though

 

Not driving into a river helps too.

hahaha, you sound like me...... 2 weeks ago when i got the rhino stuck everyone was like why not just go around all the mud? and i just keep saying where is the fun in that. lol getting stuck and dragging out 50’ of winch cable just adds to the fun.

 

Exactly!! So you see this Jeep?
It's my friends dads and it has a 6" lift. We went camping with him and he literally drove around every single puddle/mud hole that was on the trail and I was following behind him like what on God's good earth are you doing?? you have monster Heep sitting on 35's and you're driving around little puddles....
His simple response was "I don't want to get it dirty" and then there was me behind him like

Made sure he has the transmission cross bar replace or it will burst in to flames. Ask me how I know... Had one with 14k on it and poof totaled. 35 k jeep

Yes ,but still miss my first jeep a 98 tj. I miss not having a roof or doors in the summer. And as far at the jk 4 door that I had it was too early to enjoy it but had a winch and pillar mount lights. I guess I need to start looking for a sun roof for the taco.

Yeah What I spent on the ring could have bought the supercharger and got it installed. Well close anyways.

But you never know. She " borrowed" the truck a week after I got it and came back with a lift kit installed on it. said to consider it an early christmas present

Congrats man! I remember when I proposed to my wife, it seemed like the next day I was putting my motorcycle and bass boat up for sale... I wouldn't change it for the world, but damn they're expensive! Haha

Looks great man and love the MGM (was really close to getting that color too) and the TA/ KO tires kick ass.



I did the same thing yesterday. Only I put on 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer ATP tires on my TRD Black Beadlock style wheels. Tires are good and the tread is great, I just wish the shoulder/ sidewall transition was a little more aggressive. Happy overall though. Now to derp my badges black.
