yeah yah yeah....I want to do the locker in the front, as well as a crawler....but as far as the RTT, I don't think it is in my future. I love running the topper, and I am just not a fan of putting one on the top of it. Now if I were to have, lets say an expo trailer

I hear ya, it wasn't the easiest getting everything together to start Overland Off-Road. Gotta thank you big time for being customer #1
If i make it up to MD for work, give me a call anytime if you need help with anything.

i'm in the same boat, already top heavy. I alwo have a bad habit of leaning my truck into trees. the bed and roof rack can take it, but it'd mess up a tent real quick. Once i get all of my crap in the same place and have a garage again, I'm thinking i may take off and sell the cage/enclosure on my trailer and build a 2' tall enclosed "bed" for it with a rack above for a tent.

cool, i'll have to look into doing that after i knock some other stuff off of my to do list (like clearancing for 35'' tars )

I think with the way i have mine set up, it would be nearly a straight shot into the air box. it never even crossed my mind that cutting the snorkel was the solution.

I know a guy that's good at plastic welding & he actually fabricated it to be a straight pipe out of the snorkel & has a nibco adapter fastened directly to it with hose clamps. :spy:

thanks for the heads up. I don't have any wheeling planned for the next month at least, so frame rub isn't too big of a deal right away. i'll just take it easy on the u-turns. as long as i'm not gonna rub the UCAs (i have a ton of clearance right now), i'm gonna get them mounted, and go from there on the cab mount , frame, and fenders. taking care of the pinch weld this weekend though, because i know i'm going to hit that hard core. if i can deal with the frame rub at full lock, I may hold off, just because i wouldn't want to buy new spacers, just to get rid of them in a few months with long travel.
