Hail? It was 100 degrees here.

Just ask around for a reliable shop and see what insurance will cover I guess. What all got damaged?

Sorry about your truck. I guess the first step would be to call your insurance company. They should have a list of repair places in the local area. I'm still new to the area too so I can't suggest a body shop. It seems like there are a lot of little dent repair places popping up in parking lots around town. I'm not sure if they are reputable or not.

BTW we were out riding some trails this afternoon and got hit by the edge of the hail storm. Luckily it wasn't too bad. Here's a link to some pics.

When are we going to get a meet and trail ride together? I would also be up for a mod day. I could use some help with installing my AAL, rear shocks and cranking up my coilovers.

You're telling me! I'm just moved here from San Diego. This whole idea that it can be hot as hell out and still get ice blocks falling from the sky boggles my mind.

The hood and roof got dented up. Yeah, I found out Comprehensible insurance claims won't raise my rates so I'll be giving the insurance company a call.

Mel's auto body behind Valley Sports Bar. I've been using Kevin for years. He does great work. He does all the body work for Subaru. You won't meet a nicer guy. Ask for Kevin, or Eric.....who is just as nice. Dennis is the manager. Kevin is the owner(his dad was Mel.) Don't waste your money at Abra. Meet him eyeball to eyeball and you'll understand what I'm saying. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And you have the option to go where you want, no matter what your insurance might say.

Haha that's what makes SD great! You can have rain, sleet, hail, wind, snow and sunshine all in a matter of hours :)

No offense intended, man. But when I was in San Diego area I couldn't believe what drivers there called inclimate weather and slowed down to 30 for haha. It's sprinkling, people!

Sounds like you've got insurance contacted and a good shop recommended. You're set :) there are scammers here just like anywhere else but I think you'll find many more genuine people who would be glad to help you. At least I hope so.

I have a stick welder I'd let you borrow and I'd buy the tube bender if you would make me a bumper also :)

I'm living in Rapid part time now, I'd be down to meet up sometime!

If anyone is interested I have wheels and rims(6 spoke) from a 2012 Tacoma. I put new wheels on my truck. The wheels have 10k on them. Make me a fair offer if interested. Factory original wheels. I live in Rapid City.

Looks like the closed trails closed this thread too! I'm in Rapid City as well and just picked my '10 Taco TRD Sport DCSB from Sioux Falls on Sunday. Planning on slowly getting it set up for some trails, any of them out there that are managable for a stock truck? A meet up would be cool when they open back up! (when is that by the way?)
