I have no idea what that is. Like I said in my thread, only been up there like three times and only once was the gate open. I think a bunch of other peeps are coming that are alot more knowledgable about this trail. I just set it up, said 'Hey, I'm f***ing going, anyone else coming?' And now it's looking like another five or so trucks are in!

hey doug missed ya fishin bromie

heres the pond i was working with today.

no pics of the fish but caught an assload of bluegil and 1 bullhead.

took 3 bluegil home and didnt keep the bullhead since it was a bit large for my tank and it swallowed the hook.

but my coworker says to come fish anytime.

So i want to put some speakers in my bed for when i'm outside my truck and want to listen to music, however i don't want a "roll" bar, and i don't want to cut into the bed to flush mount them, so i came up with this idea, if i built a frame, wheel well height, and 6 inches deeper (front of the truck to back), i could turn the center part into a drawer, or just a flip up lid to keep a chain and whatever else i needed to keep in there safe.
And the 6 inches on the back (towards the tailgate) of the wheel wells is where i could put the speakers.

Does this sound feasible? any other ideas? any idea on the $$$$ involved?

it's doable, buy not worth it if you do it right imo. You're going to want a dpdt switch or relay for each speaker. This will switch between inside speakers and outside speakers, turning one on and one off. It will also allow all the power to go to one speaker instead of just tapping into the wires and trying to power 2 off something meant to power one. Next you're going to want some waterproof speakers so they don't fall apart after the first rain or mud puddle you hit. Realistically you could get it all said and done for about 2-300. You could get a decent bluetooth speaker for 50-100 and use that everywhere, not just where you parked.

Costco has em. I love mine. Sound is great, portable, Bluetooth, USB charging port, aux port. Fully charged will last a long time.

Why not just buy a boom box like the ones Milwaukee and Dewalt make?

because milwauke and dewalt are just designed to make noise, not sound good. On the job site that's fine because there is so much noise going on anyways it doesn't matter, but in the real world that drive some people nuts.
