Are the front springs different from ps to ds on our trucks? People have posted that toyota compensated for the lean with the springs so that should mean that they are different part numbers. On my truck I have a 3/4" lean. I'm about to replace my shocks with 5100's and want to be sure I get it right in case the dealer swapped springs when they did the tsb.

Yes. They are marked with a white/yellow on one side and a yellow/yellow on the other.
Wait what year is your truck? this may be incorrect.

Then that should still apply. The paint color may be different, but the coils are different side to side.

The springs will be designated by different color markings. Mine have two yellow marks on the drivers side and one white, one yellow on the passenger side. Like I said before the colors may vary on yours, but they will be different from side to side so you can tell them apart.

Or do you mean you are not sure if they are oriented correctly as the truck sits now?

The latter, I'm wondering if the springs are different I shouldn't have as bad of a lean. The dealer that did the tsb were idiots so its a worry.

Gotcha, sorry for the misunderstanding. Have you looked at your coils to find out if you can see the markings on them? If so you could get a definite from some other 2010 owners to see if they are installed correctly.

Green and white on drivers side, blue and white on passenger side. Green spring was slightly longer.

Installed them in the correct location, bilstien 5100 at .85" and a toytec top plate spacer has the truck almost level with a full tank of fuel.

    Thank you for the help.
