For everyone else, he's got the plates for sale here.

I painted it by hand once the bumper got back from the powdercoater. I still need to some touch ups to it, but it turned out pretty nice given that I have the eye/hand coordination of a person with very bad eye/hand coordination.

Keep in mind that you can use this mount (along with the DLX and the LOX) and mount two on top of each other... unless you are hoping to stack up 4?

True. I've been thinking about that and that's probably what I'd do. Thanks! :D

The logo plates are not included with the bumper. If you'd like to order one you can order one from 4x Innovations here.

The recovery shackle mounts are included in the base bumper. There's no need to pay extra for something so important!

The Rigid SR-M series lights fit perfectly or other small rectangular driving lights. Duallys do NOT fit as the required opening for them is the entire height of the bumper.

The jacking points would be nearly useless with the tire carrier, then. Can the cutouts be configured into the side protection? I'm halfway tempted to order without the cutouts, then cut and reinforce them myself, but my access to tools is limited.

Also, is there an option for housing a Hi Lift on the tire carrier? Preferably with a fold-down table, but maybe with the table and a jerry can holder. This would clear up quite a bit of space in my bed.

You could up the appeal for the tire carrier if you put together a lighted license plate holder fixed into the swing-out. This rock-proofs the license plate and saves the end user the trouble of sourcing lights, tapping the swing-out, etc. We just run wires and zip ties and bam, you're our savior.

Any photos and detail you can add of the locking mechanism and hold-open mechanism would be great.
Is there an additional discount for ordering a swing-out rear, full skids, shackle flip, and maybe a front bumper? PM me :D

Wouldn't the jack points be stronger if they were "inside" the shackle mount? Like between the shackle mount and the hitch

Compared to the pictured location? Marginally so, yes. My point is that it doesn't matter because one cannot get to it in the first place, having a tire in the way. In some cases you may want to jack from the center, in other cases you may want to lift one corner. Even a 3/16" bumper should be capable of jacking near the corners. If a bumper is intended to land on a rock (shock-loading multiplies the effective load), it ought to be able to statically lift the simple 1x vehicle weight.

No, the jack points are not useless where they are. They can be used by simply opening the swing out tire carrier. We could cut clearance holes for a jack in the rear corner of the bumper like the "Style 1" rear bumper, but they'd be on the actual side of the bumper.

We can arrange for a Hi-Lift mount on the tire carrier, as well as make a license plate mount for you. Even if we didn't, you still get the license plate lights with the bumper, there would be no need to source your own.

Give me a call when you are ready and we'll get you all set up.

Basically, no it wouldn't. The Hi-Lift points are located right next to the main mounting plates that go back to the frame. Going between the plates would make a very tiny difference in strength, but not one you would ever notice. The bumper is more than strong enough to lift the rear of the truck all the way out at the corner, so why interfere with the hitch portion of the bumper?

Moreso, having the hi-lift positions closer to the inner of the vehicle provides a safety concern. Safe lifting practices dictate that you should only be lifting one side at a time. Having the lift points further out gives better stability.

Could y'all do something like this to accommodate a winch? I know, my photoshop skillz are amazing.

Not in this bumper. This bumper is only 4 inches tall where even the Warn RC 9.0 is 6.3 inches tall if mounted horizontally. That leaves a lot of bumper that would have to be cut out, reinforced and would still have 2.3 inches of winch dangling down. You're much better off with a portable winch tray if you're looking to do rearward winching. I know it's one more thing to have to carry but it truly is a better option. The Portable Winch Tray does have a sit flat storage system built in and a storage position for the receiver tube. This makes it as compact as possible and much more stable so that it won't just rock and roll around in the back of your truck.
