    i think the diff drop may help with the vibes at 45-48. hopefulyl can install a ghetto drop before the campin trip. not sure about my 58-60 mph vibes though until i get a chance to check out ujoints and CB like monte suggested

    Has anyone measured or know if a 2004 Double Cab Short Bed has a different size bed than a 2001-2003 Double Cab Short Bed?

    I know 2001-2004 is supposed to be basically the same but I'm hearing and reading that the 2004 bed is the same size as the 2nd gens. Not sure if this is true?

    Also, does the 2004 have bed track system or was that only started in 2005 with the 2nd gens?

    Realized my speedometer is way off.. Indicated speed =67 / actual speed =60...

    Think a previous owner must've ran larger tires and had the speedometer calibrated for them. Guy I bought it from had just mounted 225/75R15

    Got a little dirty today too. Put some good gouges in the sliders and kissed the bed with a rock right in front of the driver side rear tire. Only two other trucks went through it, they were lifted crawlers on at least 37's. made me feel good about my truck haha oh yeah, and I accidentally went a little to fast over a bump and launched my truck enought for the suspension to compress so that my tires slammed into the fender well... :eek:
