He had a custom diamond shape straight front. King shocks all around. The bottom was painted black with manual locking front locks.

I've seen some 1st gens with 6' fab-tech and 3' body lifts.. The truck is in the registered weight class 4,500 lbs. and under, 29 inch bumper height. I've only got a 6'' lift and my bumper is sitting at 29.5.. so those guys have to be at 33 inches to make math eaiser? How do they pass saftey? Do they not actually check or something, or do these guys do the old swaparoo but with suspension parts

on thursday I had to hemo my friends 8" chevy springs on his first gen taco. Even with 33s his bumper is at 33.5"s. Even if we put the stock 235/75s on the truck, its crossing fingers just to pass. If it comes down to it, theres always the 195/50s he can run to get it.

It sucks with all the pictures and bs that comes along just to try have something legal. I used to check bumper heights with a yard stick..if you know you aint gonna pass you may as well just bring in the paper work. Nowadays it isnt that easy. The state wants pictures so they can make money off ur ass when you get caught.

for me, fuck getting safety and fuck the law. They dont want to accept my money to pay to register a vehicle? then dont fucking write me tickets. dont like the way my truck looks then fuck you. you want more laws and want to tell me how to live life. fuck you move away.

bottom of bumper, i dont plan on getting anymore suspension work done. Was just curious how they pass.

Is this directed at me? If so, why? I was just curious as how these trucks pass as i was once considering this setup and wanted to see how people get around this.

bottom of bumper. we used to count the receiver as a bumper too, because we could put the stickers on that.
