Took the dash back apart and re-installed the locker switches in some Carling switch panels.

What did you do with the dash light dimmer?

I want to put a couple switches there, but I already have the factory locker swith, the clutch start cancel, and that dimmer.

deleted the clutch start cancel. dumbest switch on the world.

The dimmer (another dumb thing imo) is tucked up behind the trim piece into the dash.

    That's funny.

I use the clutch start cancel all winter to warm my car up without getting in, but I guess you don't have that problem :D

Also, I like using the dimmer on longer drives at night, most of the time I have them all the way up, but after awhile it gets too bright.

I guess I'll be looking into other options. And I must be the only person on here that likes the POS little clock, it's staying.

my dimmer switch is on the lowest possible setting that's safe.

I hate lights shining in my face at night... my eyes get strained easily

The clutch start cancel was deleted as in, I put key in, turn and engine goes vroom regardless of pressing on the clutch. If it is in gear, it goes vroom, lurch, stall. I learned on a manual and have owned one ever since. Never got the whole clutch kill switch thing.

The dimmer, I've never adjusted. I think there is room to put a 2 switch panel next to it if you wanted to keep it. It also shouldn't be hard to re-wire a Carling switch in place of the clutch cancel switch. Not an expert so not 100% sure on that.

If you want an extra clock just in case, let me know.
