scx10 or tamiya? Looks sweet. I like the brazed bumpers and sliders

SCX10. I really don't like leaf springs on an RC truck. It makes too much sense to go linked front and rear. This truck was a good compromise :)

Linked is def the way to go. I used to have a wraith that I messed around with. I always thought the Tamiya was cool because it was leaf sprung when every other rc truck is linked.

Any recommendations on beadlocks? I'd rather not use weld on, but it's obviously still an option. I have the gun to my hobart for welding aluminum, do you think it would be difficult to weld aluminum beadlocks to H2 wheels?

I'm liking the Spyderlocks the more I look at em.

The spyderlocks are really nice, one of my buddys run them on his 4dr jk and they can take a beating and will never loose a bead. Have seen the outer bead lay over flat going through rocks and been fine.

That design is FUGLY. I'd go with Trail Ready beadlocks. http://www.trbeadlocks.com/ But really, buying beadlock wheels are just STUPID expensive. Nothing wrong with a weld on beadlock. Personally I'd go with recentered H1's with stauns inside so it's double bead locked. Cheaper, stronger, better.
