N Fab light bar. Extremely easy to put on and is rock solid. 4 tabs for your lights also. I think I paid around $135-$140 through Amazon.

What is up with the bulb. Why can't you change them out or run your hids with them? I think they look very good.

Old style looks MUCH better...I'm not a fan of multiple halos on these trucks. They belong on BMW's if you ask me.

However, a single halo around a clean retro with HID's and a nice shroud looks great.

His HIDs are the "plug and pray" replacement for the factory H4 lamps.
The aftermarket projectors probably use an H1 or H11 lamp.

Go with the set that doesn't leak!

Projectors and HIDs (notice how I said projectors first) will make a huge difference. Is this set off Amazon a true projector with cutoff? E.g. can you clearly see that it doesn't shine above a certain level when you aimed them?

See Quote from Rich. The bulbs from my old kit are different than the ones in these lights.

    Thanks! I actually lol'd

Set that doesn't leak? That would be my BHLM for sure.

As far as your question about a cut off line... Yes it has a definite cut off line. It looks almost identical to the picture that Rich posted with the exception of the right side of each beam is just a "little" higher (which I like btw).

I went back out and looked at them this morning and I have 3 issues listed in order of importance to me

1: The 4 LED's at the bottom. Yes I can cut the wire and they will go off but they are still there. If it wasn't for those I think I would be in love with them.

2: The light output is not "quite" the same as stock. Not bad by any means but still not stock. This can be easily remedied though.

    3. The orange reflector on the side. Yes I know why it is there but I don't like it. With my BHLM it was removed (again I know it's supposed to be there) but it just looks better without it.

Like I said... I'll leave them on for a bit and see how I feel about them. Honestly my biggest concern was the "Halos" when I bought them. Turns out... That I one of my favorite parts. If I decide to keep them then a new HID Kit will be on it's way. But thank you guys for all your input! I appreciate it and keep the comments coming. I might have missed something that you guys might point out.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!

I say OEM lights blacked out with projector HIDs. Best mod I've done to my Taco living out in the country. Funny thing is I went as far as adding my own LED strip that everyone seems to dislike

I like the look of yours and that was what I was going to do before I went on a mini shopping spree on Amazon (fuck yeah... add those lights to my order while your at it:rolleyes: ). I swear...I'm worse than my wife when it comes to shopping. Went on Amazon to buy some 303 protectant, a bluetooth headset for my ps3, and 2 Flag patches for my daughter, and ended up with headlights. I've got issues.

But... I'm not a big fan of the LED strip on the bottom of yours (and mine). I think it looks cleaner without it and less over the top. I say that and I like the Halo's around my lights so don't put too much stock in my opinion :D

Your truck is clean and I really like those wheels. I almost bought those before I bought mine.

So I've driven around a little bit. Went to the store and have already had 2 comments about the lights and where I got them. The more I look at them the more I think I like them. I'll give it a few more days and if I still feel this way I'll go on and order the HID's for them. I really like the Halos and I didn't think I would.

Careful with the HID's for those lights. I had a similar pair (spec
    D) for the car I had before I purchased my Taco. They were not built to house an HID bulb. The plastics where thin and would have melted, but more importantly the projector style lens and housing was just not big enough (length primarily) to fit an HID bulb. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure there was a small sticker on my lights warning against the use of HID bulbs.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Just did my retrofits yesterday. I'm not a fan of the double projectors, but it doesn't look bad IMO. I didn't paint my chrome bowl black but thats because I have an 09 with the "smoked" headlights and didn't want it to look off by have the different colors.
