They actually use 6x8's. 5x7's and 6x8's use the same mounting holes. You can by a adapter to use 6.5's.

Ok, I'll ask. How did it happen? Tire blow out? Little drinky drinky? Cute little squirrel in the road? Texting?

WOW, glad you are OK....Taco's can be replaced....

For those "Doubting Air Bags" PLEASE take a CLOSE look at the front bumper or indeed, the whole front clip...any reason for them to DEPLOY....

I really would NOT want a front AB going off mid-roll as my seatbelt is doing all it can to restrain me.....probably why "UNCLE" had side bags mandated...

Onto a softer note....detailed my interior and finally got to paint some door trim BUT the RAIN threatened again..total outside detail will wait for calmer clouds..;) or until I get back from a couple of Class 6 rides .

Do you have any info on where I can find some speaker adapters for my '02 to run 5.25s or 6.5/6.75s? I have been looking but can't seem to find a source.

    EITHER or...YOU choose.

Sometimes the obvious is not there for everyone....

Then again, that is why we AMERICANS get totally "safe vehicles" to drive while other countries enjoy Toyotas of another generation...We need to be coddled and have every new toy available put into our spaceships...:p

That is why I like my 1st Gen., I have to roll my windows up & down, I have too check the air pressure in my tires and I have to keep track of my miles between services BUT that is why my 11 year old Tacoma looks like it does...I HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT...

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=390635406821you can probaly pick these up at any best buy or car toys, or you can make your own out of MDF. Just trace your factory speaker outline and cut it out, then cut your hole for new speaker in the middle.

Getting some new wheels and tires for my truck soon. What are my stock 16" alloy wheels worth? They look brand new, no rash or oxidation. Also have some Goodyear a/t's on them with like 8/32" tread. What should I sell them for?

Hmm for that price maybe I'll just powder coat the stock ones bronze and skip new wheels.

Bought a small automotive fire extinguisher for the truck. I probably won't mount it anywhere cause I don't like putting holes in anything on my truck. Just lay it behind the seat

You're going to get the typical "that's a dangerous projectile in case of an accident" replies.

I wouldn't feel too comfortable with that set up myself.
