Well see its like having those huge diesels with block, spacer, body lift you name it, with massive stacks. Chips set to smoke on the lightest touch of the throttle.

If you put on a shit ton of weight, nobody gives a fuck whether you even actually do the lift. It makes your penis bigger.

I got my plates/bar from Muscle Driver USA.

All made by Pendlay, total was around 600 for the bar and 2x 45's, 2x 35's, and 2x 25's. The bar was the most expensive part of the deal honestly.

Any good deals out there for home gym flooring? The hard concrete is not very comfortable on the feet. Wanting to go cheep but still get good life out of it.

So I upped my calorie count from 3100 calories/day, to 3900 calories/day. I've been eating a lot of yams and complex carbs, but I feel like I need more balance in my diet.

Anyone recommend more protein items other than meat, beans, and lentils?

    x2

but lately I havent. I either put 2 5lbs on the floor or a 2x4. Then put my ankles on them. It helps me get lower and I feel like I wont fall backwards.

But you look good Sean. Breaking at the knee's first and keeping fairly upright. A lot better than most people

Take off your shoes and put a 5lb plate under it your rear heels ....it helps prevent you 'rolling' forward....

why would you take off your shoes to then put your heels on something that puts your feet in the same position that the soles on your shoes would?

Non-compressing surface. When you pick the bar, your heels compress. The plates (or a 2x4) don't. Personally, I don't take my shoes off.

it allows you to keep a more upright body position and hit greater depth while avoiding any lumbar flexion...you can also purchase the some Olympic weight lifter shoes which would help.

Looks good to me! In the wise words of Ronnie Coleman, "Light weight, baby!"

I get around 150-200 grams of protein a day and my sources are egg, tuna, beef, pork, chicken, greek yogurt, turkey, and of course whey from my shakes. As long as your protein source isn't Big Mac's, you're alright. 1g of protein for 1 lb. of your body weight is about right

As far as a balanced diet, what I do is every time I consume protein, I consume a vegetable or fruit and a carb.

    Ex.
meal 1: 5 egg whites, wheat bagel with peanut butter, apple
meal 2: protein shake with peanut butter and banana
    meal 3: chicken breast, salad
meal 4: turkey burger on wheat, green beans
meal 5: protein shake with peanut butter, greek yogurt
meal 6: tuna on wheat, corn, cottage cheese or casein protein shake

I use my vibrams on leg days

Hadn't tried elevating the heel with something though, I'll try that next time

    The better coast
Could be weaker or you could be using it more. Step up on things with that leg during the day?

My friend rolled his ankle bad in vibrams, they need to make some high top ones :D
