billy 5100's and taco lean

    I just checked and I only have the 3 leaf.

    i think the 3 leaf is standard for the OFF ROAD's. the AAL is going to give you some lift without buying new leafs or using blocks, some say the ride is fine, some say it sucks with the AAL, i dont' think you can win/lose either way, it's almost luck if you have issues/vibrations or not. seems different from truck to truck.

    Thanks for all the help/input. I think what I'm going to do is install the 5100's all around with the fronts at 1.75 (3rd notch), then go from there on a AAL or not.

    I love my 5100's set at 1.75. Its tempting to kick it up to the 2.5 setting when I see other lifted yotas.

    It measured even, but looked like my rear was low so adding a 1" rear spacer block completed the look for me.

    another big part of the "taco lean" on the driver side is cause you and the gas tank are on the left side..

    I ended up putting a 1/4 spacer on the drivers side and mine measures perfectly level from left to right. Maybe 1/16-1/8 higher on drivers side. At 1.75 in the front I was pretty Nose high so I added a. Toytec 1.5 progressive AAL (3leafs added to my factory 3 leaf pack after removing the 4th overload leaf). Then it vibrated so I put in 3 degree axle shims and a Tom woods one piece drive shaft now it's twice as smooth as brand new :). It rides and handles 100x better them factory and hauls/tows MUCH better too
