!st gens are skinny and fit in all those tight places. If you cant fix that bed side be prepared to cry lol I just paid $1100 for mine

 

That's why when I see a lifted full-size truck, I figure the only offroad it might see is mud. I haven't done anything tough or crazy with mine, but I know it's been places a full-size won't fit.

 

I hate mud just did rear bearings and it sucked

 

the bedsides on 2nd gens bolt on, so it would be cheap to get one at a junk yard, and have it painted, then bolt it on yourself. your bed is all one piece i believe...

 

I'm curious what happened exactly? Did it come out of gear and go into nuetral?

 

looks like he stalled and let it roll until mother nature caught it... he made that hill look very difficult, after Rob, with open diffs, made it look easy....

oh i didnt think it was an auto because of how it was revving up... hmm. odd.. after he just dumped 10 grand into it. id be pissed.

 

Settle down guys, Eric had some play in his pedal setup (he drives lefty). Got a little heavy on the gas after the first ledge and had a little extra hop, hence him coming down hard. The slide backwards was due to the pedal setup failing to operate properly. Watch the vid, he came down on the crossmember and the trailer hitch.

Christ, if you're apprehensive about that keep your taco on asphalt. That was the beginning of the run.

we werent giving him shit, just trying to figure out how something like that would happen. there is no way we would know he drove lefty... but that still doesnt explain the truck stalling when it slammed down and rolled backwards? and why didnt he hit the brake instead of letting it roll uncontrollably like that? dangerous...

 

Well hope his truck's alright! And no one was hurt! So that's a win in my book.
