    Hey all,
I'm trying to trade in my access cab 5 lug and pick up a double cab since I'm having a baby next month and need to be able to put in a car seat. Is anybody willing to chime in on the out the door price they got he dealer down to? Right now I have them at $25,900 before taxes on a 13 double cab sr5 v6. This seems high to me since the 14's come out at the msrp as the 13s and they'll be out weds. The dealer told me that that model sales so well that they won't discount it anymore and that they have sold year old models the same as new models. Does this seems correct? Thanks for any help in advance.

Ya... Tacomas tend to go for a premium, especially the DC.

Yeah I seen them and wasn't sure if that's what they were. Do people put car seats in the back or only in the front seat in the access cab?

Hey OP what did you mean by this "This seems high to me since the 14's come out at the msrp as the 13s and they'll be out weds."

Did I miss something I thought the 2014 had not been announced. What the.. does be out weds mean- Wednesday?

Hey sorry I'm not 100% when the 2014's come out but straight from the sales manager at the Toyota I went to he said they were getting then in Wednesday. Don't know if he's right or not.

Yeah they are supposed to be kept in the back that's why I wasn't to sure on the jump seats in the back lol. Thanks for the info though!

The reason for the 2014 delay is that there are some new mileage regulations that have to be implemented by 2014. This might be good if the new 2014 has a boost in power and better mileage or might not we will see. I am thinking of getting the new truck and getting rid of my 2012 if its up to par.

Edit. I'm pretty sure the no one has seen the 2014 not even the dealer. No picks have leaked that are confirmed that I know of if the body did change.

I had my kid in a rear facing infant seat and a forward facing seat in the back of my access cab. Front seat needs to put almost all the way forward though. DC has waaaay more room in it, but it can be done in an AC just fine.

They're out. No changes from 2013, deliveries are starting this week. The first trucks arrived at some local distribution centers on the 26th.

2014 has been orderable since June.

A month ago, there was an "August 10, 2013 08/26/13 to 9/10/13" line above the September line shown.

$25,900 sounds decent to me, what was the sticker price on the truck?

A week ago I checked in with my dealer about my 2014 order he said they had some in at the port of Jacksonville but they were stripped down regular cabs. I'm guessing they were some fleet trucks. They tend to come out first from what I have heard. Mine is due in the 28th. Someone posted their dealer was getting them in on the 10th. So they should start showing up next two weeks I guess if not sooner.

There are no major changes to the 2014s. Some minor cosmetic changes inside the cab is all anyone has heard officially speaking everything else is all hearsay.

Thank you everybody for the comments and pics!

The double cab was listed at $27,200 Msrp and $26,400 invoice.
