Relays... Never again. Power to fuse to power to ground. Keep it simple.

 

Have a bad experience with relays? They're pretty simple imo, reduce all the wires going into the cab, and you don't have to worry about overloading and melting a switch ( trust me that's not fun)

 

I had a pair of relays for my aux lights for one desert trip and they were over priced junk that couldnt' handle any vibration abuse. No more junk relays and no problems with any switches since running a fuse panel.

 

I have rarely had a relay fail. On Off-road stuff I use circuit breaker panels and relays (only a couple of them in strategic locations). I have built 2 harnesses for Trophy trucks and had no failures to date or I would have heard about it.

I use the higher end stuff when doing an $8K+ wiring harness job.
I used only Bosch relays, however there are more knockoffs than real ones out there.

Generally speaking if your not shooting, dumping or just being a douche you should be fine. And if I am lucky maybe I can find the other way out since they blocked off 2 entry points in the last few months due to jackass people dumping and we get the shaft for it, fking lazy douchebags.

Fun stuff! Solo run as usual. Going to get my dirtbike ready and do it again on 2 wheels riding my 2005 CRF450R with 14.3:1 compression, its a fucking monster!
But not quite as fast as my 2008 CRF488R with full porting, and stage III racing camshaft, etc..that one is for winning desert races, first race for me.

After summer is going to be the Rovers MC on the 15th its a Hare and Hound format race, then the next weekend (Sep 19) I have the D38 Euro scramble @ Plaster city, then on October 13 I have the Hare and Hound NATIONALS with the big boys. Gonna get busy real soon, I am thinking about getting a new bike ONLY for racing, since I ride so much my race bike gets too much riding on it.

In the process of getting sponsors, I should have Dunlop, Sunstar. Dirt stars, EBC, working on a few others. I will be racing in Vet Expert even though I am old enough to race in Senior class..

I am always down to play in the sand I went out a few weekends ago, got up to 109* as long as you don't stop its not that hot lol
