Yep. Mine is black. Picked it up at Ace Hardware.

Just jack the hi-lift higher and you won't have that problem

I did one of mine on a car lift though and lost a lots of diff fluid onto the skid and now have rust protection and a sand catch... haha

 

Shit I had to go and get a slide hammer with one jaw and a hose clamp to get them out of my 2nd Gen diff. Dicked with it for a couple of hours with bars and hammers. Then I got on here and figured out how to do the 2nd gen. When we did Monte's they just popped out... way easier.

yea mine just popped right out with a pry bar. The kind with a plastic handle.

IIRC the passenger side is really easy to pop out, but the driver's side is really hard to get a pry bar on because it is so close to the diff housing. Usually it doesn't take me more than a few minutes to pop them out though.

 

I started on the passenger side with bars, rubber mallets, and finally a hammer, pulled the CV apart on the truck then broke down and went and got the slide hammer. The store manager didn't charge me for the rental. After I got the slide hammer on them they popped right out. I don't think I would of got them out without it.

 

Wow! You're clips must be in really good shape or something. haha I have beat the hell out of one or two that I have pulled but I don't think I have spent more than 10 or 15 minutes trying to get one out.

 

How far did you guys space your sliders from the door when it opens

 

Mine angle up and are mounted as high as possible. Id guess there is like less then 1/4'' from the door and the outer bars.

 

Did you cut the square tubing at an, angle

 

The square tubing on my that is the main inner rain is at an angle so that the bottom edge is a corner of the square tubing.

mine are BAMFs.

 

Mine are also bamf. So you didn't cut or modify them

 

Nope didn't change a thing. Just welded on the frame plates and gussets and mounted.

 

My favorite hunting spot got torched.

I liked it. Its fun, and I never had to worry about fufu fancy drinks since its pretty much jsut a beer and whisky bar. Mi kinda place lol
