Noticeable difference in manual versus auto? You can burn more rubber in the manual, the only complete Vortech supercharger kit is for a manual...

I like my auto with manual mode, both modes are fun as shit to drive...and YOLO so get the FRS.

I didn't know you bought an auto. We have the manual mode in my wife's subie and paddle shifters. It's still not as fun as a manual though.

I'm sure your car is much more fun than my wife's legacy. I would not mind having An frs for sure though. But my next vehicle will most likely be a charger or an older muscle car.

Are you crazy my wife can get a ticket in my runner and that thing can barely do the speed limit. I bought her the 2.5 premium.

No shit!! My insurance went crazy high when I got married. Of course she is under 25 so I should have seen that coming. How is the insurance on your frs compared to your Tacoma?

    Tacoma < FRS

    :p

By like 13 bucks a month.

Of course I have a military discount, multi policy discount, air bags, anti theft, 7+ year clean driving record discount etc.

I'm kinda surprised it didn't go up more for me...that was one thing I looked at when shopping around, the insurance for a Corolla and the FR-S were almost identical.

It's funny for me the 4x4 trucks were more than a car. Even my wrx was less than my Tacoma. Ill never understand insurance but I like usaa I've been with them since I started driving. But I was curious because Im keeping my eye out on the frs's. if they do a bigger motor or start boosting the shit out of them it will go up high on my list. I have two years before ill buy another car. I like only having 1 or no payments.

I don't think that they'll get a bigger motor. I think boost is the way to go, built internals along with ecu and fuel management. Decrease the compression in the current motor and it'll push out a good 450 hp with the right turbo set up.

Yeah I just don't like being a pioneer for it any more. But I have a few years to decide. I want so hp to the ground for a fun car that won't be driven very often.
