Obviously not a 10lbs tank and not from empty to full, but for what I air down to I did the math one day and it was around 90 tires. My math could be wrong...wouldn't be the first time. It's like $9 and change if you have a good enough hookup .

The recovery was the best we could do. That's a snatch strap so it has some play in it. My tranny is fine, been driving it all day. I realized it was the plastic inside the shifter that was sticking and not letting it shift correctly.

The dirt was plenty soft enough for my tires to dig myself after the slack was up. No harm done besides my damn alignment from that stupid pothole I didn't see.

So many haters, yet I never see them come with us. Easy to judge others from your computer chair

 

But where are you getting the tank filled at? Cheapest I found to fill my 10lb is 20 bucks

Oh, and Tom made a mistake. The truck doing the hill climb wasn't me. You can hear me saying the bypass wasn't bad on the other side over the radio, because I had just come down off the hill on the other side. That was Jeff that couldn't make it up

 

I would say more like blue run/ black diamond. Btw that is not a corn field that my truck is in nice try but fail just like this trip, that would be summer wheat. They don't grow corn where my Gf farm is, So if your going make fun of me a least get it right.

This was one of the most fun trips I've been on! Sure, we had to redneck strap the truck, but only because we had long straps and not enough road. Yeah, I jerked the truck pretty hard but I'm putting on the 35's next week and regearing shortly thereafter.

Bottom line, we did what we had to do to get him out. No amount of digging would have gotten Jeff home, and I've driven 150 since we got back and so far, no harm done. These trucks are tough, man...I'll tell ya that.

Winch will be on as soon as my Pelfreybilt bumper is done
