Been lurking for a bit, this is my first post.

After a lot of research and study (translation: drooling over pics here and elsewhere), I decided that the absolute most capable and reliable vehicle I could buy was a Taco. Doesn't hurt that my hunting buddy in Montana has well over 200k HARD mountain miles on his rig, and it's unstoppable. Picked up my '13 V6 SR5 DblCab 2 wks ago. Loved it even before I drove off the lot.

Drove straight to the tint shop and put 15% on the fronts (factory match) and 35% on the windshield. On my way to murdering her out. Just put on a smoked license plate cover and vent shades all around. Wet Okoles on the way, as well as a full Icon Stage II lift. Planning on Duratracs (265/75x16 - just don't wanna deal w/ rubbing and trimming or any other issues that 285's present) mounted on ProComp wheels.. Undecided which, yet.

Lately I'm spending hours on end envying the BHLMs and other mods on here. You guys have some SIKK rigs. Me jealous very much.

Pics to follow, as soon as I wash n wax her. . Thanks for the inspiration and for being what seems like an awesome community.

Yeah I have to say, everyone on here just seems really cool and supportive and helpful. Which will be needed, given my girlfriend's level of discomfort with my love for my truck, coupled with her inability to understand my need to mod it.. Lol.

Your jealousy of DCSB is well known, the fact that you haven't traded that DClb is beyond me :stirthepot:

You echo a sentiment I've read here before. And now I want 285s again.

Just when I thunk I had my mind made up. Sheesh. Lol.
