Here are the group pictures from last weekend and a couple from this weekend. And all 3 pictures of my truck required a strap.

The hill climb video is producing right now and I hope to get it started uploading tonight. Combined both weekends on the first hill climb.

After watching that video I wish I had gone ahead and tried that hill. I thought from the way it was described after the curve it was worse than that. Especially after taking that last big hill. Brian, is that video posting soon?

Side note, anyone who can, I would appreciate some posting support in my Vendor threads. Especially the one in red on my signature line. Even just a few kind words would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The other hill climb is my next video set. It is much more productive to edit the single obstacle many trucks videos than to edit trail runs. After that hill climb, I'm going to do a couple from Justin and I that were pretty cool, then do the plan trails.

There was a ton of bouncing up there at the top for most everyone. The next time, video will be recorded where it transitions to rocks instead of the dirt section.

I wanna run a go-pro in my vehicle cause pictures and videos outside don't do justice for the steepness. At one point you are literally driving towards sky.

YEP^^^^ i agree with you right there paul. that vid almost makes it look like flat ground. and i know out of the hills brian and i hit saturday, if that one looks flat they all will.

btw did you guys try the switchbacks paul? i know brian said the jeeps broke off from the group at one point.

I don't think they were any steeper than the one on the video, but it had 3 tight switchbacks and still another good turn at the top. It is at the far side of section 7 which is to the left at the front of the park.

Yeah, I can see the advantage of the protection. Of course I can also see the advantage of tube with less weight and less airflow blockage to the radiator and such.

I'd have to say tube for a first gen. I went through this debate with myself when I went to purchase a bumper. Weight means a lot, but in reviews, the tube holds up better then plate, costs less, and looks better IMO.

I do agree that plate bumpers look better on a second gen though. But on a first gen, I wouldn't trade my tube for a plate.

Yeah. Still deciding tho on which one to get. I like the look of your bumper Dave, just still haven't decided yet. And I am STILL trying to decide on tires and wheels. I keep hoping to stumble onto a set on CL.
