    Hmmm think I check all that I have run. This was from two trips the 3rd year was only two trails and mostly fishing.

    Beef basin was an all day affair. Start at Elephant Hill and pick it up just past the Devils crack.

    Nope the ledge Im talking about is right when you pick up the trail from the wash. There is a large boulder to winch from if needed.

    i was thinking about heading in from beef basin...would be able to get the dogs in that way...then cruise through elephant hill and bypass the hikes..

    head into beef basin, check out some of the ruins, camp..then head through EH the next day

    that whole area is pretty cool looking...the san rafael swell area would be fun to explore as well...lots of washes it seems similar to the pickle area, just not as hard of obstacles
