If you have time come down to Auburn. Auburn collision repair and off road has everything you could need.

So I dropped the wife off at work (in Tukwila) so I could have her car today. Then went back to Bothell to find a dealer that had the Leaf bolt I needed. Drove to Edmonds to pick up a $9.50 bolt from Toyota then from there I went all the way back to Lake Stevens to the only place that sells extended brake lines (Olympic 4x4 Supply) only to find that O4S gave me the bolt for free. Back to Bothell to install the parts. Then pick up the wife in Tukwila after work and go back to Snohomish to care for her horse... I love days like this lol

Ouch. Bothell -> Tukwila = traffic brutality during most hours of the afternoon.

    It wasnt too bad.

Is there any way you would be interested helping me change out my extended brake lines tonight? I could probably get it to your place without any issues but I havent worked with brake lines too much. Just a thought. It's either that or I pay $60+ to get it done somewhere.

Wait for Saturday and do it in lake Stevens. Aren't the factory lines long enough for that much of a drive as long as you drive conservatively and not like you're in a rally race?

It's not that you can't, but that you won't. Besides, you could have taken that chicken and put it in the freezer until Saturday morning then bring it to share with us.

Smar969905...do I really need to include myself since I will already be here?

Will has said he plans to start drinking beer with me about 10:30, so if any of you light weights want to share my beer with me, you better get here by 11, or else you might get stuck with the processed beer after my body is done with it.

Also, I am thinking to hit the Snohomish River on Sunday and throwing some big ugly pink lures out to see what may swallow them.

There will be marriage here on Saturday too, between trucks, and modifications to make them better, and I bet we have a better selection of beer, even if there are fewer ladies to hit on.

If thats the case then sure, I can wait. I have just been hearing really bad things about not doing it (e.i. ripping an OEM line while just driving on the highway)

Well I do have a freshly painted bumper to install...but I spent a 2 days of this weekend making it happen. Not sure if I can make more truck mod time happen, but Jill is pretty damn cool. :ballchain:

I sanded it down for what seemed like a long time, felt a little bad as Billy had done a good job with the primer. This wasn't even close to the finish - there was a lot of bare metal exposed when I stopped (entire headlight hoop thing, lots of front):

POR 15 is super thin, almost like water, but reacts with air and starts to harden (and thicken) fast. It gets runs easily if you put it on too heavy - my winch plate area has a couple runs of the stuff that I didn't catch in time. It is strange and nasty paint, hope it works as claimed.

Moved it into my shed, painted more POR 15, then started rattle canning that beast with Rustoleum satin black. The first can didn't seem to do much, but the second can started filling in the rough and evening out the finish. Might add a third can for a little more "pro" finish. :notsure:

I just looked in the shed a sec ago and :D:D:D:D:D happened.

I would think you would be OK unless you are really cranked in the rear. I think you only need front extended if you are doing LT. In fact, Ben and I had to send our front SS lines back to get shortened.

Well, I officially have the coolest g/f ever.

I am skipping the wedding in hopes of making the reception at night, and I will be riding up with Chickenmunga (thanks Mike ).

Will bring some brews and maybe some sort of food-product. No mods for me, but willing to lend a hand and participate in the hoorah! I've been known to do a full brake-line swap in 20 minutes, Troy can vouch for me ;)
