Will agree with your statement. But no excuses, though. I sure as hell hope they find someone else besides Gates at LT...sadly, though, I think he is our best option given the fact that our ultra-superb Theus didnt start. There are so many factors in that game that its hard to pin down one thing. Hats off to Clemson and their gameplan.

We quite possibly have the most retarded fan base in all of CFB. Period.

It was not a pretty game...Congrats on the win, if we would have had half of an offense, I do believe it would have been a lot different outcome.

 why do you say that?

it can be pretty bad. I told my buddy it would be a 1 score game. He said UGA would run away with it by 17. I expect at least a 7 point loss to sc. Shaw is gonna run all over us.

Because as you know most of our fan base should change their names to Chicken Little...I swear, I have never heard so much idiocy as these so-called fans spew.

I don't know what to expect Sat... But I don't think Shaw will go all crazy like last year..

Bad singing aside, singing the Clemson Alma Mater with the team after the game is one of the best things about going to a Clemson game. I don't care if it looks amateur.

I was hoping to see a showcase of some of the offensive firepower we're supposed to have, but y'all put the kibosh on that pretty well. I hope that we had a good defense rather than y'all not having half of an offense, but my glasses are Crimson.

Best of luck the rest of the year.

^VT has no recievers. Logan Thomas hit plenty of hands but not many balls were caught. Even with that though, Alabama, I think played pretty conservative since they had the lead. More than likely Alabama would have had more offense if they would have needed it. The old saying, play makers make big plays when they need them most. Alabama didn't exactly need many big plays on offense.

If they don't get rid of bobo I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go to the school and protest at the AD's office.

Alabama WR Kenny Bell says he's "hanging up the cleats" to focus more time on his children.

Yeah... I'm eagerly waiting on more information. No idea what prompted this.

He already has his degree, so he won't be dropping out of school. Just no idea what's going on (not that it's any of my business, though).

    Best of luck to him.

LSU is a 34 point favorite over UAB. I wonder if I'll even make it to the game

Some jackass selected that game for the pick'em here at work. No idea if UAB will keep it within 35 points. If they do, it won't be because they're good enough to... It'll be because La State stopped caring and started easing off the gas.

Hate when people pick these games!!!

I didn't get to finish my response since I was at work. Was going to go on to say in regards to the O line that we were on the 2 or 3 yard line first and goal and couldn't punch it in and settled for the field goal that was botched coming away with nothing. Everyone is blaming the bad snap but we shouldn't have been kicking in the first place. Should have had 7.

If our O line doesn't step up then Clowney and company will have a field day again.

But aside from that, what I was saying about Murray is that I think he will never shed that label of not winning the big games. I thought to myself before the season started this would either be a great year for him to shed that or it would get worse. We all see which direction that's going. :( And it's ironic that a lot of the games were not his fault just like Saturday. He made some mistakes but he did do more good than bad but he will be known for the bad.

Some players are known for fumbling, some for being injury prone, I just think with that loss that unless we go undefeated from here out Murray will go down as the guy that cant win the big games even though he has great numbers.

But this goes to our "great" fan base ya'll are talking about, we're frustrated and want a NC so everyone points fingers. Hell I'm guilty of it.

Back to the O line, I think we may need a new coach in that department. I'm not even sure who that is but it seems we always have O line issues. For once we are supposed to be strong there but I sure didn't see it Saturday. I saw a line that got frustrated and started chop blocking as a result. Unless there was something else behind that. Aside from them not blocking, how many times did the O line get penalized which ultimately stopped some drives? It was at least 3 that I can remember.

So with all that I think this weekend comes down to the O line, if we can run and give Murray time I think we can win, but that's a big if. I just didn't think we'd have a problem in that area against Clemson although it was the shootout everyone expected.

I was down after the game but we still have the conference to deal with and I don't see any threat out of conference left on our schedule so who knows? And our D should get better as the year goes, just really hurt losing Mitchell. :(

Bottom line, I was optimistic that our O would carry us with the young D but now I'm not so sure.

Yeah, were not Oregon. What's the point in putting up 66 points in a game that's already in the bag. Padding your stats?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
If you read why the starters stayed in through the 3rd Q, it was actually a good reason.

Helfrich said all the starters looked sluggish, almost bored in the 2nd quarter so he made them go back out in the 3rd to get more live snaps and to "wake them up." Not to mention, 21 of the 66 came in the 4th quarter with back ups. And it's hard to NOT score when your team runs at such a fast pace.

Oh and if my fellow Dawg fans haven't heard Marshall Morgan (fg kicker) is still suspended for the SC game. I don't understand why Richt didn't release that before but that sucks. 2 games for a BUI? haven't we had DUI's only get 1 game in the past?
